Homemade Natural Sunscreen

HI,missed you, today we gonna make Homemade natural and non-toxic sunscreen.

I got fed up of summer and sunny days, for me i adore winter.

i am one of October babies, anyway i heard that commercial sunscreens get involved with hormones and cause many problems, for me this is unacceptable as i got easily nervous in summer,i cannot bear heat so i decided to avoid those problems and make natural DIY sunscreen.

Let's see what we gonna need:

  • Clean glass jars with a lid (small or medium sized)
  • carrot seed oil(1 teaspoon) optional
  • lavender essential oil(20 drops)
  • organic coconut oil(1/2 cup)
  • Shea butter(1/2 cup)
  • organic beeswax(1/4 cup)
  • non-nano zinc oxide(4 tablespoons)as nano zinc oxide can be dangerous because it's very small so it is absorbed easily into the bloodstream, and that is risky

Let's see how we gonna make this Homemade sunscreen:

Melt the coconut oil, Shea butter, and beeswax together but be careful over low heat with continuous stirring till they melt together.

Remove the mixture from the heat once you see all the the ingredients completely melt, let them settle for minutes then add the zinc oxide and essential oils.

Stir well, blend thoroughly the ingredients together then transfer the mixture into a few small glass jars to cool.

This natural sunscreen is really great, you may have to reapply it after swimming and sweating.

You need to know that if we are out in the sun more than an hour to an hour and a half or two hours, we reapply.Be generous with it and you will get great and safe results for yourself and your children.

You have to know that It does leave a little bit of a white shine, but it’s not that noticeable. but that is more safer than than chemical sunscreen that is absorbed into your skin as you don't know the extent of its absorption so it may be toxic.
